Students majoring in data science and big data technology take basic courses in mathematics, computer science and statistics in their first two years. In the next two years, they will be encouraged to take elective courses related to data analysis and processing in finance, medicine, biology, humanities, sociology and natural language processing according to their own interests and abilities. They can engage in practical projects involving actual data processing to get a deeper understanding of real-world applications, or choose some basic courses and participate in relevant scientific research projects.
